Prempro (conjugated estrogens, medroxyprogesterone acetate) is used to alleviate the complications of pre-menopausal and menopausal women. It is suitable for women who have a uterus, as it contains both an estrogen and a progesterone; women who have had their uterus removed can utilize a different, estrogen-only medication, such as Premarin.
Patients buy Prempro to help reduce or eliminate a range of commonly-encountered menopausal symptoms:
...and many others. Patients taking Prempro should notice many, perhaps even all, the above symptoms slow or stop within a month or two of starting treatment.
Taking Prempro
Prempro is typically taken as a single tablet once per day. This should be repeated daily until treatment ends, which can be quite variable. The shortest duration of treatment at the lowest possible dose is desirable; patients and/or doctors should re-evaluate the necessity of continuing treatment at least twice per year.
The strength of the tablet also matters. One can get Prempro in 0.3/1.5, 0.45/1.5, 0.625/2.5, and 0.625/5 mg conjugated estrogen/medroxyprogesterone acetate. Only a doctor can determine the best dosage for a given patient. If there is any doubt, the lowest possible dosage is desirable.
Prempro can offer tremendous relief from the pains of menopause, but it is not without risks. Patients should be seen by a doctor prior to starting treatment and should fully disclose relevant history.
Before You Buy Prempro
Patients planning to buy Prempro should be aware that it's not recommended for use in all patients; the risk of serious adverse effects are simply too high. The medication should not be used by patients with:
Due to a possibly of exacerbation, Prempro should be used with particular caution in patients with such conditions as:
Prempro can interact with a wide range of other medications, both over-the-counter as well as prescription. Check with a doctor or pharmacist before mixing medications.

prempro low-dose is a safe and effective way to get HRT. The most recent research as of 2017 shows this is a good way for women in pre- and menopause to get relief from symptoms while the estrogen is... protection for the brain functions. The early, decades old research that scared the pants off everyone was fraught with errors, and did women a disservice. The problem, though, with these online pharmacies is you cannot find low-dose prempro (.3/1.5) They are always out of it, even though many of them keep it on their website. I have a hard time believing that none of these pharmacies can get low-dose prempro. I think it's the money, because the higher doses are so much more expensive. The bait and switch you seen on some online "Canadian" pharmacies does a disservice to women and I hope enough of them will complain to that cipra group. At least the KIWI pharmacy is honest and says the low-dose Prempro is unavailable. I hope they will get it back in stock soon.
